What exactly is Nymelya?
Nymelya is an audio story app for children: a catalogue of tales, nursery rhymes and lullabies, personalised stories created with AI and reviewed by a parent, and narrations recorded by relatives. Everything lives in one private library for the family.
How much does it cost?
Nymelya is free during the launch period, no credit card needed. A family subscription will be offered later, with notice before any change.
Which devices?
Nymelya launches on Android first (Google Play), then iOS. The website presents the app, lets you manage your account and accept an invitation from a relative.

Yes, every feature is available for free during the launch period, no credit card needed.
Are my family's voices and stories private?
Yes. Everything is private by default: no story or voice is public, there are no ads and your recordings are never used to train AI models. Only the people you invite into your family can access them.
How does a relative record their voice?
You invite them by email (grandma, an uncle, a friend). In the app they read a story and record it, and can listen back and start over. You then listen and approve it before it appears in the family library.
Are AI-created stories safe?
They are designed for toddlers, with gentle themes and automatic checks. No system is perfect, which is why you always read and approve the text before the voice is generated. AI-created content is clearly labelled.
Does it work offline?
Yes for listening: download a story and listen without a network. Creating a story or recording a voice needs a connection.
Can my child use it alone?
No: Nymelya is for adults. There is no child account; parents choose and start the stories.
What about several children, or several families?
Each child has a profile, and a story can be for one child, several or the whole family. A relative can belong to several families without their content ever mixing.
For what age?
At launch, for children aged 0 to 3. The ambition is to follow them up to around 10, with new stories over time.
